This role is an exceptional opportunity to work within that team and influence how senior talent is sourced at Canonical. Location: EMEA – Home based Responsibilities Develop a search strategy for our business, ensuring processes enable headhunted talent to move smoothly through the pipeline. Coach senior leadership teams to drive hiring outcomes, enabling them to approach and attract exceptional talent for their management and leadership positions. Drive talent analytics to provide real‑time insight, using SQL or Python to identify trends in data. Conduct in‑depth behavioural talent interviews and provide insights into motivations and behaviours. Build key relationships with global stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery on hiring objectives and monitor hiring activities. Seek continuous improvement of hiring processes and outcomes. Champion diversity and inclusion by removing unconscious bias from the hiring process and ensuring sourcing strategies support this. Qualifications Professional headhunting experience from an executive search firm or in‑house search function, with knowledge of strategies for sourcing senior talent in the technology industry. Excellent knowledge of tools used to identify future talent, including market mapping. Strong analytical problem‑solving ability, with proficiency in SQL or Python. Experience conducting behavioural, competency‑based interviews and training stakeholders on interview techniques. Academic background – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology or people‑based subjects, with strong math skills from high school. High level of personal organisation and ability to thrive remotely. Willingness to travel to company events 2‑4 times a year, for up to two weeks each. Other Skills You May Bring Experience with advanced analytical and statistical analysis to interrogate data. Exposure to Greenhouse ATS, Thomas International, DISC profiling.
