Key job responsibilities Diagnose hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs. Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures. Manually handle and lift equipment as required (weight limits in accordance with regulations). Data Center Operations (DCO) This position involves: Following and maintaining the highest safety standards and diligently encouraging a world‑class safety culture. Owning safety initiatives and projects to foster a strong safety culture. Location Requirements Our data centers are located in remote areas outside Milan, where access via public transport may be limited. A valid EU driving license is required for this role. Work Schedule This is a 100% onsite in‑person position due to the hands‑on nature of managing mission‑critical infrastructure and data center industry. About the team AWS values diverse experiences. Basic Qualifications IT hardware troubleshooting related experience. Completed formal education/apprenticeship or training in IT related field. B1 level of English. Preferred Qualifications Diploma or equivalent formal qualification in IT related field. Basic knowledge of Linux and experience with network protocols in a Data Center.
