You will collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. You’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnosing hardware and network problems followed by physical repairsTroubleshooting events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs)Performing root cause analysis of equipment failuresManual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations)Working rotating shifts (morning/late/night) as well as weekends to maintain the 24/7 data center environmentOn‑call rotation to react to off‑duty emergency callsFollowing and maintaining the highest safety standards and encouraging a world‑class safety cultureEngaging other solutions groups on more complex problems to drive solutionsBasic QualificationsHigh school or equivalent diplomaExperience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repairExperience in networkingPreferred QualificationsExperience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressureAbout the TeamAWS values diverse experiences.
