Key Responsibilities:

  1. Reconcile bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
  2. Maintain general ledger account by reconciling accounts receivable and payable, adjusting entries for amortization, analyzing and reconciling retained earnings, and preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals.
  3. Collaborate with department heads/senior management to gather data and insights for the annual budgeting process.
  4. Assist in the preparation of comprehensive budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
  5. Develop and maintain financial forecasting models to project revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
  6. Analyze historical data and market trends to make informed forecasts for short-term and long-term financial planning.
  7. Monitor budget vs. actual performance regularly, identifying and explaining variances.
  8. Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and revenue enhancement opportunities.
  9. Generate financial reports and presentations that clearly communicate budget and forecast results to senior management.
  10. Assist in the preparation of management reports for decision-making.
  11. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain organized documentation related to budgets and forecasts.
  12. Assist in various financial analyses, including cost-benefit analyses, ROI calculations, and scenario planning.
  13. Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  14. Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
  15. Occasional extended business hours may be required when necessary.
  16. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and +2 years of experience or 3.0 GPA.
  2. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  3. Basic Knowledge of QuickBooks or Xero.
  4. Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting principles, and financial analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years working in service-based accounting companies.
  2. Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting for corporations.
  3. Experience implementing process improvement using Automation software (Zapier or similar).
  4. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and financial software.
  5. Intermediate Knowledge of QuickBooks & Xero.
  6. Accounting experience working with US-based companies.

  1. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and analytical abilities.
  2. Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
  3. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment.
  4. Ability to present complex financial data clearly and effectively.
  5. Comfortable working with company forecasting and budgeting.
  6. Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of financial forecasting and budgeting.
