The Team We are building an Onboarding team focused on helping users unlock access to a wide range of Kraken products. The team is highly data‑focused and collaborates across Kraken to provide crypto to as many people as possible worldwide. Stay ahead of emerging trends, using customer insights to refine and advance our design direction. Contribute actively to design reviews, seeking and offering constructive, supportive feedback that raises team‑wide standards. Skills You Should HODL 5+ years of proven experience delivering end‑to‑end product design, with a portfolio showcasing high‑quality mobile app work. Experience working with KYC in compliance‑heavy industries. Strong UX and visual design skills, taking on challenging problems and delivering thoughtful, user‑centered solutions. Data‑informed approach using quantitative and qualitative data, A/B testing, experimentation, and impact‑driven outcomes. Balanced design decisions considering user insights, business needs, and technical feasibility. Knowledge of prototyping tools and techniques, communicating ideas clearly and effectively. Comfortable taking ownership of high‑impact features or projects while collaborating closely with peers and cross‑functional partners. Open‑minded, collaborative, and eager to learn from feedback and iterate on designs. Strong communication and organizational skills, managing priorities and aligning with stakeholders. Strong familiarity with human‑centered design principles and research methods, applying them to improve outcomes. Ability to present and defend design decisions confidently to peers and non‑design audiences. Bias to action in a fast‑growing, remote‑first org.
