We are looking for a QA Specialist with organization and testing skills to join an extraordinary team with dynamic strengths. You’ll be part of the Catalog Games studio which leads a portfolio of 9 games.You’ll be responsible for helping to produce incredible experiences for our players with the high quality that King stands for. The QA Specialist needs to live and breathe quality and will be part of a creative, ambitious, and agile environment where your ideas are valued as much as your agile testing expertise. Your role is embedded in the agile teams and focuses on bug prevention, mentoring the teams about quality and testing, and evangelizing shared responsibility for quality.Your role within our KingdomBe the main point of contact regarding quality and testing related matters for the teamPromote good QA practices such as exploratory testing, agile testing, test automation, and risk‑based testingAssist the teams with test strategy, test design, test execution, defect analysis/root‑cause investigation, test reporting, and improving the bug processHelp build and maintain test plans and test cases for the game featuresIdentify and communicate risks that are or may impact other teams in relation to the overall quality of our productsUnderstand how the games integrate with King tech productsCoordinate with other tech teams and game teams when integrating and testing key featuresBe active in the continuous improvement of QA processes at KingBe aware of and actively drive the vision agreed for the QA craft organisationSkills to build thrillsExperience and/or curiosity about working with mobile tools and middleware QAExcellent communication skillsAbility to build strong working relationships with team membersAwareness of test automation frameworksBonus pointsExperience of working in the gaming industry especially mobileKnowledge of TestRail (or similar testing tools)Knowledge of game engines (Unreal, Unity, etc.)Knowledge of JIRA or similar issue‑tracking softwareScripting/coding experienceAbout KingWith a mission of “Making the World Playful”, King is a leading interactive entertainment company with more than 20 years of history of delivering some of the world’s most iconic games in the mobile gaming industry, including the world‑famous Candy Crush franchise and other hits such as Farm Heroes Saga.
