Based on proprietary Baculovirus Expression Vector System (BEVS) technology utilizing silkworm cocoon production, we're delivering high-quality enzymes to the life sciences market. This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and relationship-building skills to accelerate our growth in the RUO enzyme market.

Business Development Manager - Global Commercial Reports to: CCO Location: Remote (with travel requirements) Scope: Global markets with focus on North America, Europe, and Asia Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Business Administration Advanced degree (MSc, MBA, or PhD) strongly preferred Minimum 7 years in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the life sciences industry Proven track record selling molecular biology reagents, enzymes, or research consumables Demonstrated success in global B2B sales with measurable revenue growth Experience with RUO products, biotech manufacturing, or enzyme applications preferred Understanding of molecular biology techniques (PCR, NGS, DNA synthesis) Familiarity with enzyme applications in research and diagnostics Knowledge of competitive landscape in molecular enzymes (T7 polymerases, ligases, pyrophosphatases, NGS enzymes) Fluent English, other languages a plus. Commercial Skills Expertise in solution selling and consultative sales approaches Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities Experience with pricing strategies, financial modeling, and business case development Responsibilities Revenue Generation & Sales Drive sales targets: Pipeline development: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline across key markets and customer segments Lead negotiations from initial contact through contract signing and implementation
