Role Summary The role of Senior Solution Architect is to take ownership of a solution within Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation project. Solution Architect provides leadership and direction to the on-site implementation team on the design and execution of the solution and definition of business process workflows that accompany the solution. Senior Solution Architect responsibilities Leads WMS transformational projects and delivering solution as main point of contact Designs advanced creative solutions including integration and other technical aspects Drives end-to-end implementation of the WMS solution and integrations from design to go-live Leads design workshops for internal projects and participates on critical phases of partner implementations and providing recommendations on overall supply chain execution solution architecture, requirements, end to end workflows (WMS, TMS, WLM, WCS, Warehouse Automation / Robotics) and the integration needs within execution systems and host systems (ERP, Replenishment Planning etc.) Partners to project managers in planning efforts Offers mentorship and product level leadership to the broader Customer Success team Work experience Proven experience of techno-functional leadership of BlueYonder WMS implementations (relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions may be considered Strong domain knowledge of Supply Chain organisation within at least one of the following industries namely Retail, Manufacturing and 3PL Understanding or experience of agile methodologies concepts Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to drive discussions on both functional processes and technical concepts in a language that can be understood across a diverse audience and multiple levels, including C-level Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong trouble shooting skills (application and technical) Good understanding of E2E execution workflows, architecture, integration, and project lifecycle with ability to define implementation plan, identify cross functional dependenciesSQL, relational DB systems Experience with any programming language (ability to read and work with code) Windows / Unix basics SQL experience Willingness to travel Fluent in English German, French, Spanish or Italian fluency highly desirable BlueYonder offers Highly professional environment of top international industry experts Chance to work with the best-in-class SCM solutions and work with the most prestigious and advanced Retail, Manufacturing, and Distribution companies in the world Strong investment in employee skills development Excellent development abilities and further growth potential Clear independence and empowerment Permanent job contract Highly competitive salary and benefits package Our Values If you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
