Founded in 2014, SAVANA operates in more than 160 hospitals across 5 languages and 15 countries, employing over 100 professionals from 16 nationalities.Job SummaryThe Senior Accountant is responsible for managing key financial processes, including intercompany transactions, accounting review, tax compliance, billing, revenue recognition, cash flow analysis, and audit support.ResponsibilitiesManage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.Review and ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records.Oversee tax compliance and coordinate with external advisors.Handle billing processes across multiple revenue streams.Ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards.Support rolling revenue forecasts and cash flow analysis.Lead financial audits and prepare statutory filings (prepare technical memorandums and perform financial analyses to support business decisions).Report suspected incidents and propose improvements to enhance processes and controls.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting from a Spanish university (Master’s Degree or specialization in taxation or auditing valued).Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting, ideally within international environments or multi‑entity structures.Strong knowledge of Spanish tax regulations, particularly VAT (SII system) and Corporate Income Tax (IS).Proven experience in preparing and coordinating financial audits and statutory accounts.Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite) including reporting, consolidation, and process automation.Ability to supervise and mentor a junior accountant and act as liaison between the Head of Finance and operational team.Effective coordination with local tax advisors in other countries.Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, organizational and planning skills, proactive approach to process improvement.Fluency in English and Spanish.Autonomy, creativity, and strong analytical and organizational capacity.BenefitsCompetitive salary, flexible culture, development framework for career growth, training and development opportunities, and recognition for achievements.Recruiter AgreementAll resumes submitted by search firms without a valid written agreement will be deemed the sole property of SAVANA, and no fee will be paid even if the candidate is hired.Candidate Data ProcessingMedsavana will process your personal data for the selection process.
