Join us Your role as a Commercial Manager Spain As Commercial Manager Spain , you will lead the commercial development of NewCold in one of Europe’s most dynamic food logistics markets. You will play a key role in building and expanding our customer base — identifying new opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and ensuring long-term satisfaction and profitability of existing accounts. Acting as the commercial business partner to the Operations, Finance, and Customer & Business Development teams, you will help shape the commercial foundation of our Spanish business as we prepare to launch our first automated site in Spain. This is a unique opportunity for a senior commercial leader with deep knowledge of the cold chain or food logistics sector , strong strategic vision, and the drive to build something new. What will you do? Drive business growth — identify, develop, and close new commercial opportunities with major food manufacturers, retailers, and logistics partners in Spain. Manage and expand key accounts — act as primary contact for existing customers, ensuring satisfaction, service performance, and long-term retention. Develop solutions — translate customer needs into value-added storage, automation, and transport solutions, working closely with operations and engineering teams. Shape commercial strategy — support pricing, contract negotiation, and customer mix optimization to maximize asset utilization and profitability. Collaborate cross‑functionally — partner with Operations, Finance, and Business Development to align customer requirements with operational capabilities. Lead forecasting and performance analysis — provide commercial insight for Annual Operating Plans, business cases, and investment decisions. Build long‑term relationships — represent NewCold in front of clients, sector associations, and other key stakeholders in the Spanish cold chain market. Who are we looking for? Seasoned commercial professional with 5+ years of experience in cold chain logistics, food logistics, or 3PL operations . Proven ability to develop new business (hunter mindset) while managing and growing existing key accounts (farmer mindset). Strong understanding of logistics operations, automation, and end‑to‑end supply chain services . Experienced in negotiating complex, long‑term contracts with large industrial customers. Commercially analytical, financially literate, and comfortable with data‑driven decision‑making . Collaborative communicator able to influence at all levels — both internally and externally. Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken). Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
