Head of Workplace Services Privacy and Security About the Job Are you passionate about shaping secure, compliant, and resilient digital workplaces? As Head of WPS Privacy and Security, you will lead the strategic direction and governance of security and data privacy across Allianz’s global workplace environment. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor to senior leadership, collaborating with IT, HR, Legal, Risk, and business teams to embed security and privacy best practices into everyday operations—ensuring that technology empowers productivity, innovation, and business growth. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the digital workplace of a leading global organization while driving a culture of security and compliance What you do Develop and execute the WPS-wide security, compliance, and data protection strategy aligned with corporate goals and regulatory requirements. Serve as the executive owner of workplace digital security policies, standards, and frameworks. Lead initiatives for continuous threat monitoring, detection, and incident response to minimize risk exposure. Oversee workplace technology compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and other relevant frameworks, including audits and post-incident reviews. Collaborate with HR, IT, Legal, Risk, and business units to embed a security-conscious culture and promote awareness programs. Serve as the main point of contact for internal governance, regulators, and key stakeholders on workplace security matters. Ensure security and compliance requirements enhance productivity, collaboration, and business growth. What you bring 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in IT security, compliance, and data privacy, including 5+ years in a senior role. Experience implementing security controls across workplace services, endpoints, collaboration platforms, and cloud solutions. Strong working knowledge of GDPR and international security standards and frameworks with proven track record in managing security incidents, risk assessments, and threat intelligence integration. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in complex, matrixed organizations with strong analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking skills. Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent professional experience; relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CIPP/E, ISO 27001) are strongly preferred . Experience with workplace/endpoint security and DORA regulations and previous experience in financial services are a plus. English fluency, additional languages being a strong advantage. Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use.
