Ruby Labs is a leading tech company that creates and operates innovative consumer products. We’re building and scaling a high‑growth D2C product in the LegalTech / Utilities space and are looking for a QA Engineer who takes real ownership of product quality. This is a hands‑on, manual QA–first role in a fast‑moving environment where features ship often, experiments run continuously, and quality cannot be an afterthought. You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering to ensure that what reaches users is stable, reliable, and works as expected across browsers, devices, and real‑world scenarios. We’re not looking for someone who only executes test cases. We’re looking for a quality owner , someone who thinks in user journeys, spots risks early, understands how systems break in production, and proactively raises issues before they impact customers. The pace is high, expectations are clear, and your work will have a direct impact on user experience, conversion, and trust in the product. Take ownership of product quality for a high‑growth D2C product in LegalTech/Utilities. Perform hands‑on manual QA in a fast‑moving environment with frequent feature releases and continuous experiments. Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure features are stable, reliable, and work as expected across browsers, devices, and real‑world scenarios. Execute regression testing and validate fixes independently. Ensure quality across environments and releases. Collaborate with developers and product managers to maintain high‑quality standards. Strong understanding of modern web application architecture. Experience testing subscription‑based products (billing flows, access control, edge cases). Understanding of release cycles, regression testing, and risk‑based QA. Experience with BrowserStack (or equivalent) for cross‑browser and cross‑OS testing, including mobile emulation and real‑device testing. Proficiency with Browser DevTools (network inspection, console error analysis, cache/storage debugging). Ability to read and understand API responses (REST/JSON) and status codes. Manual QA–first mindset with attention to detail and edge cases. Proactive, ownership‑driven approach to quality, collaborating with developers and product managers Exposure to A/B testing , feature flags, or experimentation frameworks. Understanding of automated testing concepts (not required to implement). Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone.
