Our People People‑driven Change Builders Autonomy Enthusiasts Communication EnthusiastsKnowledge Champions We are looking for a person to join a full‑time position in Madrid, IE Tower . Responsibilities Your role as an Associate Director will involve both key strategic planning and delivery assignments, as well as operational and business development responsibilities. Key action areas that support the development of research, training, and outreach of the Center in a strategic capacity, including: Assist and report to the CGC's Director and Executive Director. Design and implement projects autonomously with minimum supervision (coordination of research programs, design of outreach initiatives, organization of events, selection of researchers and experts, etc.). Research and publish on issues of interest for the CGC. Possibly appear in media on behalf of the CGC. The position also includes the management of crucial business development and operational tasks, including: Draft research and training proposals and engage new partners to drive commercial growth and partnerships for the Center. Implement and monitor the CGC's day‑to‑day activities (events, publications, communications, etc.). Coordinate staff from different IE departments that provide services to the CGC (Communications, Marketing, etc.) and manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors. Review financial information and adjust operational budgets. Qualifications Five years of project management experience or similar relevant experience. Fluent in English and Spanish. Enthusiasm to become part of the IE community. Strong interest in innovation and technology as a driver of change. Experience in the policy realm, notably in the spaces of innovation and technology. Proven track record working with clients and/or partners. Executive skills encompass strong numerical, analytical, and operational abilities. Outstanding writing abilities. Excellent organizational skills, especially prioritization and proactivity. Entrepreneurial spirit and communication abilities.
