Job Summary We are looking for a Roadway Design Engineer with experience in roadway geometric design to join our ambitious and experienced Linear Infrastructures team. We are working on stages from feasibility studies up to detailed designs on a wide range of projects – either as a standalone linear infrastructures team or as part of multidisciplinary teams. Our clients span the private and public sector and include long‑term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities, as well as Design and Build commissions for many major contractors. Our office has an established track record of successfully delivering roadway designs throughout the USA, Australia, Canada and the Middle East, and you may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic transportation projects in Europe. Key Responsibilities Work autonomously on small projects or portions of larger projects supported by EC within established procedures and practices related to linear infrastructures. Independently prepare design calculations or reports related to linear infrastructure elements (geometric design). Perform highway engineering work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision. Perform a self‑check of work products prior to submitting to others and participate in quality control reviews of documentation originated by equally or less experienced staff. Prepare project deliverables that are reviewed by senior team members. Provide guidance to entry‑level engineers. Qualifications Proven track record of working on highway designs (+6 years). Experience with international regulations and standards (e.g., AASTHO, Australian Codes, British Standards) will be considered favorably. Advanced level in highway geometric design and 3D modeling using any of the following: Bentley Open Roads, Civil3D, or other relevant tools. Advanced level in CAD software (preferable AutoCAD and/or MicroStation). Experience working in the North America region or Australia will be considered favorably. Fluent in English (oral and written). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering. US and/or Australia Professional Engineer license will be considered favorably.
