About the Role: An opportunity has arisen for a Pastry Head Chef position to join our Kitchen Department in Jumeirah Mallorca. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are: Organize and set up the pastry section, ensuring efficient dish preparation, quality control, and inventory management. Maintain consistent dish preparation, adhere to standard recipes, and manage food costs while minimizing waste. Assist across kitchen sections as needed, provide guidance and demonstrate production methods to pastry team members. Oversee store orders, daily inventory, proper stock rotation, and ensure food safety standards are met. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, maintain cleanliness in all areas, and contribute to new product development and production planning. About you: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Proven experience in a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment, consistently delivering high standards and exceptional quality. Strong leadership skills, approachable and professional, able to inspire and guide a team in a fast-paced setting. Detail-oriented and quality-driven, maintaining precision and creativity across all pastry operations. Flexible and adaptable, thriving in a dynamic environment and responding effectively to seasonal ingredients, guest preferences, and operational challenges.
