Job Description As part of our international growth, we are recruiting a Project Manager – Electrical Expert to lead data center projects in Madrid and across Spain. You will oversee the design, coordination, and execution of complex electrical systems within large-scale critical facilities. Key Responsibilities Leading and managing the electrical scope of data center projects from design to commissioning. Overseeing the integration of high-voltage (HV), medium-voltage (MV), and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems. Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, architectural) to ensure seamless project execution. Supervising subcontractors and suppliers for electrical works, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and technical standards. Reviewing and validating electrical designs, specifications, and installation drawings. Monitoring project progress (scope, schedule, budget) with a focus on electrical deliverables. Managing procurement activities for electrical equipment and systems. Ensuring full compliance with Spanish and European electrical regulations and safety standards. Leading technical reviews, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities for electrical systems. Acting as the primary contact for clients on electrical engineering issues. Preparing and presenting project status reports, KPIs, and risk assessments. Candidate Profile Hard Skills Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 8+ years of proven experience in project management of electrical systems for large-scale infrastructure projects. Strong technical expertise in HV/MV/LV systems, UPS, generators, and power distribution. Experience in mission-critical environments (data centers, hospitals, or industrial facilities). Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Office). Fluent English (written and spoken); Spanish is a strong advantage. Soft Skills Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Problem-solving mindset and ability to anticipate risks. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities. Team player with a proactive and results-oriented approach. Nice to Have Experience with renewable energy integration and sustainable electrical design. Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent). Previous international or multicultural project exposure.
