Technical Sales Specialist – Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) – Madrid, Spain Field-based role with an average travel requirement of 60%. Candidates must reside in the Madrid area or within one hour’s travel distance. As a Technical Sales Specialist here at Illumina in Madrid, you will play a pivotal role in advancing genomic applications across diverse sectors, including research, clinical, applied genomics, and service providers. You will partner closely with our commercial team to deliver innovative solutions in areas such as transcriptomics, oncology, genetic disease testing, microbiology, and agrigenomics. This is a customer-facing role where your scientific expertise and consultative approach will help shape the future of genomic science. While prior sales experience is not essential, you are motivated by objectives and excited to join a customer-facing position. Flexibility to travel (approximately 60%) is key to success in this role.
