Operations Director – Pharma Manufacturing Responsibilities Own end-to-end Production and Packaging at a fast-growing pharmaceutical site in expansion mode. This is a hands‑on leadership role with real scale and complexity: new lines, automation, digitalisation, and preparation for increased FDA‑regulated business. Lead multi‑technology operations (sterile liquids, solids, high‑containment), run a sizeable budget, and work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Projects to raise performance, modernise the site, and support long‑term growth. What makes this role stand out Full accountability for Production & Packaging at site level Major capex, automation, and digital transformation projects Strong mandate to drive operational excellence and culture change Clear focus on FDA readiness and inspection standards High visibility with senior leadership and international clients Qualifications Senior pharma operations leader with strong shop‑floor credibility Sterile manufacturing experience ideal, but not essential Proven track record in change management and scaling operations Exposure to automation, digitalisation, or major site projects Solid GMP background; FDA experience a strong advantage Fluent Spanish and strong English Based in Spain or deeply embedded in the Spanish pharma landscape This is not a maintenance role.
