AVL Iberica offers a job in Spain (ES) as Calibration Engineers within our growing workgroup. Positions Available System validation engineers: Follow a validation plan to verify the correct behavior of powertrain components when submitted to a failure Powertrain debug engineers: Assist production / end‑of‑line / dealerships and calibration teams to maintain prototypes and customer vehicles fully operational Calibration data management: Assembly, validation and industrialization of calibrations related to powertrain components Generic calibration engineers: Plan and perform a wide range of tests within engine bench and vehicle on engine base calibration / emission / diagnostics or driveability Calibration pilots: Work together with junior and senior calibration engineers to ensure the proper development of the calibration (technical lead - overview of all activities) Mostly gasoline hybrid platforms within our current projects Calibration of internal combustion engine and high voltage components YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Depending on selected role YOUR PROFILE: Education: Mechanical / Automotive / or similar Engineering degree Provided understanding of internal combustion engines and power electronics Competences acquired on ETAS INCA, AVL Concerto, Vector Canalyzer, AVL Creta, DDT2000; Matlab simulink or similar tools required English and Spanish required French is a plus Minimum 1 year of previous calibration experience.
