Key Responsibilities
Serve as a technical leader, combining hands‑on development with strategic oversight. Design, code, and deliver high‑quality, scalable Node.js applications. Mentor and coach engineering teammates, ensuring growth and skill development. Set and enforce best practices in development, testing, deployment, and code quality.
Drive technical planning, execution, and roadmap alignment with product and design teams. Champion Agile practices to improve team productivity and product delivery. Represent engineering in cross‑functional discussions, driving alignment on goals and technical risk. Participate in hiring, performance management, and building a diverse, inclusive team culture.
Qualifications
10+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and RESTful API design. 2+ years of managing and mentoring engineers, with proven leadership across cross‑functional teams. Strong technical acumen with a track record of building scalable, robust systems. Proficiency in automated unit, functional, and integration testing. Passionate about user experience, innovative problem‑solving, and technical excellence.
Experience
managing performance reviews and scaling teams in a high‑growth environment. What You’ll Bring Strategic vision combined with meticulous decision‑making. Commitment to collaboration, continuous learning, and team success. Drive innovation while balancing immediate priorities with long‑term technical health.
