Electrical Tester

Electrical Tester (Projects across Europe) MTM Engineering have a number of new opportunities for experienced Electrical Testers to join our growing testing teams on a number of Data Center projects across Europe. The successful candidate will be part of an on‑site QA/QC team and report to the lead QA team member on site. The position will be site based on one of our projects across Europe, working on a 3/1 rotation. The travel requirements mean that a current EU passport is necessary and visas cannot be provided but we can provide flights from airports across Europe for your rotation. Duties Carry out Pre‑Test Inspections (walk‑down the field installation of each system term to term) on site and compile defect reports on compliance with national electrical regulations Notify Project Manager and QC lead on the project of any non‑conformances or hazards on site Carry out testing of Low Voltage (LV) installations as required by national governing bodies Verification of Redlined Drawings for the LV Installation that is being Tested Update cable schedules for changes made Complete Test Record Sheets as per International Standards/Client Requirements Assist in torquing of LV cables once tested Assist close‑out of project issues / investigations / queries Previous Experience / Qualifications A current recognised Electrical Testing qualification Technical Knowledge and experience of Low Voltage systems and regulatory requirements (including International Standards) Ability to read detailed electrical drawings and cable schedules Ability to fault‑find/diagnose issues on installations while testing A currently valid EU passport and willingness to work on a 3/1 rotation in different countries as required MTM Engineering is an equal opportunities employer.
