About Permira Permira is a global investment firm that backs successful businesses with growth ambitions. The Permira credit funds support businesses with flexible financing solutions across Direct Lending, Strategic Opportunities and CLO Management. Established in 2007, the firm advises investment funds and products which have provided approximately €20 billion of debt capital to over 300 businesses. As an intern in the PRV team, you will have the opportunity to join a global team within the firm. This team spans across London, Madrid, Luxembourg, and Tampa and has central responsibility for the valuations process, portfolio reporting, and collection & analysis of portfolio company data across two strategies: buyout and growth. This internship will provide you with a great opportunity to learn how a leading PE firm operates. KEY RESPONSABILITIES: Reporting and Presentation: Assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal & external stakeholders, including top management. Help consolidate data and present key findings in a clear and concise manner. Data collection: Assist the team during the monthly and quarterly collection and verification of portfolio company data. Process timeliness and validation of data: Help ensure the timely and accurate submission of data by working closely with portfolio companies and investment teams. Perform rigorous validation of the collected data. Ad hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc analysis for internal stakeholders (IC members, Investment Teams, Financing Group, Investor Relations, etc.) to support internal and external initiatives. Data Management: Assist in managing the portfolio monitoring system, continuously assess templates, processes, and systems used for data collection, and identify areas for improvement. Contribute to the creation of a single source of truth for portfolio company data. Projects: Actively participate in ongoing initiatives to improve PRV's efficiency and automation. SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS: Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. Strong analytical, quantitative & people skills, and ability to understand key financial metrics and perform qualitative and quantitative analyses. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Power Bi experience is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish & English (C2 level required). Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Prior internship or coursework in consulting, finance, private equity, or related fields is a plus.
