Reporting to the Unit Team Leader, you will responsible for the development of advisory projects for major electricity sector agents, including distribution, transmission, retailer, generators in helping them deal with regulatory, economic and electricity challenges. Assists in the building and retention of long-lasting relationships with internal and external customers to support profitable growth and ongoing satisfaction.Your Responsibilities:Defines operating guidelines for team and facilitates problem solving. Oversees progress within one’s area of responsibility, identifies and manages technical issues. Drives team performance to ensure that deliverables are met on time, as per contract, safety and quality requirementsEnsures that the technical consulting team is adequately resourced, developed and equipped to meet business needs. Ensures correct assignment of tasks within the technical consulting team, defines relevant performance metrics. Creates work plans and cost estimates for consulting work.Establishes contacts within customer organizations and applies leading edge technologies and processes to deliver customer benefit Supports business development to negotiate contracts which meet customer objectives. Supports sales activities in making bids for major consulting assignments. Drives development of processes and practices based on customer feedback.Proposing research & development projects including the scope of the budget, supporting the project management strategy including productization, modularization and following up on new products/solutions, including ongoing support with contract management activities.Conducts risk and opportunities for the various assessments, ensuring delivery of the assignment as per agreed contract.Leads in the creation of new process and tool enhancement following the study of advanced techniques, with a lead to coach and develop sub-ordinate colleaguesYour background: Master's degree and above, strong technical background in electrical engineering/automation, electricity market/economics, optimization.Expert knowledge of power system operations and energy transition, at least 10 + years of experienceExperiences in the studies related to mathematical optimization, electricity price forecasting, energy trading is a plus.Experience in management of a teamKnowledge in Power Factory or other power systems analysis and development tools (i.e C/C#)Open minded and team spirit, excellent innovation capability.Self-motivated, willing to take responsibility of different tasks and new challenges.Good communication skills in both English and Spanish
