ICAP, part of TP ICAP group, provides a wide variety of execution and information services to wholesale market participants.

Role Overview
As a Junior Broker specializing in Euro Government Bonds (EGBs), you will play a key role in facilitating the trading of government-issued bonds from Eurozone countries. In this role, you will support senior brokers in executing trades, supporting client relationships, and delivering market insights.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Promote TP ICAP Group.
  • Provide complete support to the brokers for the smooth running of the desk.
  • Ensure timely input of trades into trading systems.
  • Resolve any trade queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Identify trade opportunities and calculate strategies.
  • Keep trade records up to date.
  • Update real-time manual/electronic whiteboards with market data.
  • Provide input on various projects for brokers and traders.
  • Provide trade details to brokers and traders daily.
  • Give live quotes to traders through messaging systems.
  • Monitor markets and follow financial news and developments.
  • Understand the underlying products being traded.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their business objectives.
  • Develop new business with existing clients and onboard new clients.

Experience / Competences:

Essential

  • Recent Graduate with a relevant degree.
  • Additional languages outside of English and Spanish (ideally Italian).
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial markets.
  • Build relationships and networks internally and externally.
  • Professional and personal integrity.
  • Hardworking and willing to learn.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Effectively handle situations and problems.
