We are 5,300 people strong.About ICAPICAP, part of TP ICAP group, provides a wide variety of execution and information services to wholesale market participants.Role OverviewAs a Junior Broker specializing in Euro Government Bonds (EGBs), you will play a key role in facilitating the trading of government-issued bonds from Eurozone countries. In this role, you will support senior brokers in executing trades, supporting client relationships, and delivering market insights.Role Responsibilities:Promote TP ICAP Group.Provide complete support to the brokers for the smooth running of the desk.Ensure timely input of trades into trading systems.Resolve any trade queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.Identify trade opportunities and calculate strategies.Keep trade records up to date.Update real-time manual/electronic whiteboards with market data.Provide input on various projects for brokers and traders.Provide trade details to brokers and traders daily.Give live quotes to traders through messaging systems.Monitor markets and follow financial news and developments.Understand the underlying products being traded.Liaise with clients to understand their business objectives.Develop new business with existing clients and onboard new clients.Experience / Competences:EssentialRecent Graduate with a relevant degree.Additional languages outside of English and Spanish (ideally Italian).Demonstrated understanding of financial markets.Build relationships and networks internally and externally.Professional and personal integrity.Hardworking and willing to learn.Good communication skills (written and verbal).Effectively handle situations and problems.DesiredAbility to form and build relationships easily.Demonstrates high levels of energy in achieving new goals.Self-starter who can use their own initiative.Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.Not The Perfect Fit?If you are enthusiastic about this role but find that your experience doesn't align perfectly, we encourage you to apply.
