The Field Service Engineer is responsible for executing this work in accordance with the Emerson standards of safety and quality.If this sounds like an interesting job for you, we welcome your applicationIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Customer Support -Act as first customer contact during project warranty and after warranty period as a team member or independentlyPerform investigation, troubleshooting, resolution and recommendation to issues identified in customer installation in a range of current Ovation products, third‑party connectivity products, cyber security products, working independently or under minimum supervisionIndependently perform services on site, as well as remotely, scheduled services and on‑call servicesExecute DCS migrations, evergreens, service and other KOB3 projects independently or under minimum supervisionWhere necessary initiate and coordinate support from the Emerson Regional/Global Support CentersParticipate on the on‑call rotationCommissioning Support – act as commissioning Lead Engineer to carry out installation/commissioning.Sales Support – assist Sales Engineers in the demonstration of Emerson Automation Solutions products to potential customers and provide guidance in product application and after‑sales service.Working Environment – be flexible to work throughout Spain & Portugal territory and abroad and work unsociable hours, including weekends, to support customers.Safety Systems – carry out work on Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) according to Emerson procedures.Project Execution – develop and implement product/system configuration changes at site to meet customer requirements.Customer Training – provide on‑site customer training in the application, service and operation of Emerson Automation Solutions products.Safety – adhere to the company’s and customer HSEQ standards at all times.Who You Are:You are passionate about delivering real value and always act with integrity. You enjoy working in dynamic environments and constantly challenge yourself to achieve better results.For This Role, You Will Need:Degree in an engineering discipline, such as mechanical, electrical, computer science or control systems (minimum technical college level).Minimum 5 years of experience as a Service or Instrument Engineer in a process control or power plant environment with a particular emphasis on installation, commissioning and start‑up.Have a good understanding and experience of safety systems.Strong communication skills and technical competencies in line with job responsibilities.Fluent in Spanish and English – written and spoken.Car driving licence and availability to travel.Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:Experience in power generation processes will be an advantage.Experience in repair and servicing of Ovation Control System will be an advantage.A good understanding of C&I theory including control loop configuration and tuning.Accessibility Assistance or AccommodationIf you have a disability or require an accommodation during the recruitment process, please let us know.#J-18808-Ljbffr
