The Position The Market Access & Policy Lead at Roche Pharma Bulgaria is a key strategic role focused on improving patient access to Roche products and developing the Market Access and Policy Team's competencies. The role provides crucial strategic and tactical counseling on the risks and opportunities presented by changes in the access and policy environment. Key responsibilities include the strategic development of pricing strategy based on the proven added value of Roche products, formulating negotiation strategies, and coordinating cross-functional efforts to achieve timely outcomes. Ultimately, this position leads policy strategies to prepare the healthcare ecosystem for Roche's future product launches, supports strategic planning, and identifies opportunities to open markets for new products. You Responsibilities  Development of market access capabilities in the company, incl. constant analysis of the current capabilities compared to the environment requirements and taking actions to develop or secure the needed capabilities for the team.  Guiding and coaching the Market Access and Policy team, enabling a high level of cross-functional collaboration and support. Relations with the relevant internal and external stakeholders. Support of the License to Operate and compliance function in the partnership with policy and decision-makers as requested. Close monitoring of the legislation and policy framework, analysis of the trends and adjustment of the MA strategy and models as needed. Consolidation of the Roche position on important regulation topics in the Market Access field and addressing issues through appropriate channels. Negotiations with external authorities with regards to access topics – NHIF, MoH, NCPR, NCPHA, etc. Proactive collaboration and partnership with the other functions for shaping the environment. Adherence to corporate policies and national laws and regulations within the directorate. You are accountable for: Overall Market Access strategy and resourcing (incl. budgeting, monitoring, prioritization, optimization and allocation of resources among activities) Incorporation of the IFTs input and strategies in the MA strategy and is responsible to plan resources for implementation.  Approval of objectives for the Market Access and Policy team, track of performance and proposal for overall annual rating. Driving breakthrough, innovative and customer-oriented market access and pricing and reimbursement strategies.  Organization of the process of timely submission of documents for regular price reviews, in accordance with the local legislation and also in alignment with the Operational Pricing Department.  Check and approval of prices and commercial conditions in accordance to regulations and global policies and instructions. Ensure the timely update and proper documenting of approved prices and conditions. Leading in a High Performing Organisation based on Roche Leadership Framework - building foundation for excellence, growing leadership skills and mindset, scaling leadership for enterprise impact.  Who You Are You hold a University degree in Medicine, Life Science, Pharmacy, Health Science or Economics. A degree in health economics is a plus You built extensive experience in the healthcare industry with experience in Market Access and Public Policy or equivalent roles in Bulgaria. You have a deep understanding of Bulgaria's healthcare and reimbursement systems. You are proficient in health economic evaluations and/or experience in the preparation of applications for reimbursement and pricing You are strategic and think from an enterprise level and work towards an ecosystem shared purpose rather than individual goals. You build a culture of trust, integrity, and inclusion You are able to represent the company externally, and build meaningful external relationships with relevant stakeholders in support of long-term sustainability You have a growth mindset and advanced people skills in team leadership, development and management.
