We are looking for a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join us on our journey to make it drastically easier for customers to find, choose, afford, and engage with the services, products, and professionals they need to get and stay healthy As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play an essential role in empowering our customers to take their medications correctly and achieve better overall wellness.Key Job ResponsibilitiesAssist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacyMaintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulationsWork daily with Leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right packetsRun automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medicationsFill exception trays with appropriate medicationTransition Amazon Pharmacy orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality controlCount and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription itemsPack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxesSort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right timeAid the distribution manager and distribution pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packingClean, and help maintain, equipment and work areasPackage medications for dispensing and for deliveryWork a flexible schedule - shifts may start and end outside of normal business hoursTasks performed may include billing, data entry, obtaining prescriptions and refills, processing denials, transfers and inbound/outbound callsCommunicate with patients, providers, pharmacies and insurance companies by telephone and email to obtain prescriptions, take refill requests and resolve billing issues/questionsEnter patients and order information into the pharmacy systems. Establish and maintain patient profiles, including lists of medications taken by individual patientsProcess and submit prescription insurance claims for our customers along with resolving insurance problems and patient issues that may result from incorrect or incomplete information, therapy changes and pharmacy or shipping errorsKeeping patients informed on the status of their prescription or out of pocket costs in their upcoming shipmentsPerform
