We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join us on our journey to make it drastically easier for customers to find, choose, afford, and engage with the services, products, and professionals they need to get and stay healthy An active in-state pharmacy technician license is required to be considered. #everydaybetterKey job responsibilitiesAssist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacyMaintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsWork daily with Leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right packetsRun automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medicationsFill exception trays with appropriate medicationTransition orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality controlCount and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription itemsPack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxesSort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right timeAid the pharmacy manager and pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packingClean, and help maintain, equipment and work areasPackage medications for dispensing and for deliveryWork a flexible schedule - shifts will possibly start and end outside of normal business hoursPhysical RequirementsDuring Peak/high demand, shifts last up to 12 hours (standard full-time shifts are 8-10 hours)Standing, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching and/or stretchingLifting and moving products up to 49 lbs in weightManual dexterity of hands and wristsBasic QualificationsActive unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in state of employmentNational Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)High school diploma or equivalent6+ months of experience working with computer and web-based toolsAbility to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor. The base pay for this position ranges from $42,120/year in our lowest geographic market up to $60,008/year in our highest geographic market.
