This role focuses on building and maintaining scalable data infrastructure using Microsoft Azure tools and platforms. The right candidate will have hands‑on experience working across data integration, storage, and real‑time processing, enabling data‑driven strategies across the business.Core Responsibilities:Build and manage data workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF) .Set up and maintain storage architectures using Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) Gen2 .Design and optimize data movement and transformation solutions within Azure Synapse Analytics .Work with Azure Stream Analytics for processing live data inputs.Maintain high data quality through governance processes.Implement automated build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps .Partner with analysts and other business teams to translate data needs into actionable solutions.Monitor, debug, and improve performance of data systems and pipelines.Stay current on evolving data engineering techniques and Azure capabilities.Required Experience & Skills:Strong proficiency with PySpark , working over Spark Pools or Azure Databricks for processing large datasets.Knowledge and hands‑on use of Synapse Analytics for large‑scale data integration.Expertise in managing scalable data stores with ADLS Gen2 .Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD implementation.Attention to detail, a problem‑solving mindset, and strong communication abilities.Experience using Azure Functions for serverless tasks.Knowledge of Azure Logic Apps for automating processes.Understanding of Azure Stream Analytics for handling real‑time data events.Exposure to Azure API Management (APIM) for API operations.Basic understanding of Microsoft Purview for compliance and metadata management.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related area.Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience with Azure‑based data engineering.Certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate are a plus.Seniority Level:Mid‑Senior levelEmployment Type:ContractJob Function:Consulting and Information TechnologyIndustries:Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
