Senior Data Engineer – Risk & Compliance IT As our new Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality data solutions that support Risk & Compliance processes. You’ll oversee project timelines, manage team capacity, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful outcomes. Responsibilities Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of data projects on time and within budget. Monitor and manage team capacity for optimal resource allocation. Provide technical leadership and enforce best practices in coding and architecture. Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering collaboration and innovation. Work closely with Risk & Compliance teams to align solutions with business needs. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executive management. Identify and mitigate risks related to data quality, security and compliance. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in data platforms and business intelligence, especially in cloud ecosystems. Proven track record of leading data teams and delivering complex projects. Deep knowledge of Risk & Compliance processes and regulations. Expertise in ELT flows using PySpark (Databricks), Scala, SQL and Python. Experience with DevOps CI / CD and GIT. Familiarity with Azure environments (Databricks, ADF, ADLS) is a plus. Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
