About the Role You’ll design and build AI systems that operate in real-world companies. From the first conversation with a customer to a production-ready agent, you’ll own the full process. As a Founding AI Engineer, you’ll make core decisions about how agents are structured, when to introduce sub-agents, how context is scoped, and how systems are evaluated and improved over time. You’ll work across models, backend systems, voice pipelines, and integrations to ensure our AI operators behave predictably and perform at production-grade quality. What We Are Looking For We’re looking for extraordinary talent who does their best work when the problems are hard, the context is scarce, and the pace is unforgiving. There’s no playbook here. You’ll help write it. We want individuals driven by extreme ownership and rapid growth, ready to push past existing boundaries and reinvent how critical industries operate. Requirements Technical Experience Strong Python Engineering: Deep expertise in Python for production systems (async/concurrency, typing, Pydantic). Familiarity with Go or Rust is a plus. End-to-End AI Implementation: Take a client use case from understanding the problem to shipping a working AI system in production. Agent & Context Design: Decide how to structure agents for complex workflows. Know when a single agent is not enough and when to introduce sub-agents to isolate context, reduce leakage, and improve results. Prompt Engineering: Design clear, robust prompts that drive reliable behavior. Understand model limitations, failure modes, and how prompt structure impacts outputs. AI Evaluation & Quality: Build evaluation setups that reflect real production usage. Define tests and metrics to validate correctness, reliability, and edge cases. Voice AI Systems: Build and optimize voice workflows (STT → LLM → TTS). Reduce latency, handle errors, and improve accuracy for real-time interactions. Integrations & APIs: Design and maintain integrations with third‑party systems. Ensure clean interfaces, reliability, and observability. Production Ownership: Operate what you ship: debug failures, improve performance, and iterate quickly based on real user feedback. What you’ll do Customer‑Facing Engineering: Work closely with customers from onboarding to ongoing usage, helping them integrate and optimize our AI solutions. Resolutive: Make the best decisions in situations where the context is missing and you need to provide a fast solution. Thrive in reduced information environments.
