Role and Responsibilities:

Full Time Senior Logistician position supporting the NSWC PHD - N Department, providing Waterfront Logistics support services for the Modernization Logistics Branch.

Position Qualifications:

  1. Associate’s Degree and 7 – 10 years of Logistics experience or no degree and 9 – 12 years of experience.
  2. Able to work independently, perform and complete tasks with little to no guidance, and supervise the work of others.
  3. Able to communicate expectations and follow-up to ensure deadlines are met.
  4. Able to function as a key member of the CNO availability team, serving as the single point of contact for all Combat Systems integrated logistics support material.
  5. Able to continually track and expedite parts/shipments and coordinate with TYCOM and Item Managers to avoid work stoppages and ensure the timely delivery of critical material.
  6. Able to identify and resolve logistics discrepancies and track and source all high priority requisitions.
  7. Able to apply CM/logistics processes for documentation updates/revisions and change control management.
  8. Able to provide ILS deliverables, conduct LOGSAT's, and oversee material for (OBRP's, MAM's, Tech manuals, & Test equipment) for the entire Combat System to ensure ships Combat Systems Readiness levels are at the highest level possible for deployment.
  9. Able to track reconfigurations, baselines, and data management.
  10. Able to utilize numerous Navy logistics and CM applications such as Configuration Data Managers Database - Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) and One Touch Support (OTS).
  11. Able to interface with Project Engineers, LogReps, Engineers, Technicians, and Logisticians.
  12. Must have strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat).
  13. Have a valid driver’s license with own transportation.
  14. Must be able to receive and maintain a security clearance.
  15. Able to follow company policies and procedures.
  16. Able to write, speak, and understand English and produce clear, detailed reports.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Navy Logistics School and previous NAVSEA CM/Logistics experience.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Must be able to travel if/when required.
