At Hill International, we are looking for a Technical Construction Manager to be based in **Barcelona **.The Technical Construction Manager is responsible for the management, managerial oversight, administration, and coordination of the construction process from the conceptual development stage through final construction on timely and economical basis.- Coordination of contractors on building project- Monitoring of construction / hotel reform works, including civil works and facilities.- Supervision of onsite QC/QA staff- Coordinate with onsite owner's representative- Coordinate with the Facultative direction to guarantee the fulfillment of the project, the quality and the security.- Resolve field issues in cooperation with A/E- Work monitoring with direct interface with the General Contractor.- Lead weekly progress and coordination meetings- Document management: joint review with the Document Controller of the monthly certifications, planning and other work documents.- Support office staff with answering of correspondence and change order review Risk Management- Plan Participate in construction meetings and prepare the minutes.- Integrated Schedule development and management- Baseline Management and Change Control - Review change orders based on the contract / project.- Coordination and integration of field activities- Closeout and Commissioning- Report directly to the PM of the project.- Must have a minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience- Technical Construction background- Previous experience in hotels desirable- Strong communication skills both in Spanish (Native) and English (B2 and above) Please note that if you are NOT a passport holder of the country for the vacancy you might need a work permit.
