We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer for our “Seqera Platform” team—a customer‑facing product offered as both cloud‑ and on‑premises solutions. You will address a wide range of technical challenges across frontend, backend, infrastructure, distributed programming, containerization, cloud architectures, and integrations, helping scientists solve complex problems in biotech. Lead a high‑talent engineering team that designs, implements, and maintains efficient, reusable, and reliable code across our full software stack. Strong foundational knowledge in software engineering, with experience in both front‑end and back‑end development and the ability to quickly ramp up on new frameworks and technologies. Proficiency in writing optimized, well‑tested, and secure code for both front‑end and back‑end environments, including efficient algorithms, coding standards, and security best practices. Demonstrated experience designing, modeling, and operating database systems, guiding data‑modeling decisions, schema evolution, and performance trade‑offs at scale. Hands‑on experience with cloud architectures and deployments, having worked with at least one major cloud provider and built distributed architecture on its services. Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration solutions such as Kubernetes and/or Docker Compose. Knowledge of HPC and batch solutions (AWS Batch, Google Batch, Azure Batch) on‑premise and in the cloud. Experience with Angular and React.
