Senior QA Engineer – Automation | SaaS | International Scale-Up Are you ready to make your mark in an international SaaS environment where quality engineering plays a key role in product success? This is a high-impact opportunity for a Senior QA Engineer to join a globally distributed QA function, collaborating with engineering and product teams across Europe. If you enjoy solving complex testing challenges, contributing to automation strategies, and driving quality across Agile teams, this role was made for you. The Opportunity Working across high-performing Agile squads, you’ll be embedded in the software delivery lifecycle from day one. Your goal? Champion quality — from creating robust automated test frameworks to influencing architectural changes and ensuring continuous improvement in testing practices. This is not a role for someone looking to maintain the status quo. You’ll have the autonomy to shape test plans, work hands-on with tools like Cypress , Playwright , and JavaScript/C# , and contribute to both greenfield and legacy product areas including microservices and on-premise deployments. What You’ll Be Doing Collaborate with QA, developers, and product owners to ensure high-quality releases Identify quality risks and proactively manage the bug backlog for your assigned team Drive technical improvements in testing tools and frameworks Work with asynchronous and synchronous systems across microservices-based architectures Support user-centric testing strategies and maintain test plans linked to Agile stories What You’ll Bring 4+ years in Quality Engineering, including strong automation experience Strong coding skills in Java , JavaScript , or C# Hands-on with tools like Cypress or Playwright Experience working on SaaS platforms, particularly in Agile and microservices environments A solid understanding of different testing methodologies and automation types Comfortable working independently and showing initiative within technical teams Excellent communication in English and a proactive, collaborative mindset What’s on Offer Join a well-backed, fast-scaling international SaaS business Be part of a mature QA team committed to continuous improvement Plenty of room for growth: progress your skills, take ownership, and lead change Competitive salary and full benefits package Work in modern tech environments with the latest tools and methodologies Consortia is a specialist recruitment agency with consultants focused on global roles within UX, Product, Data, and Engineering markets.
