Job DescriptionMajor Incident Manager Malaga (hybrid) 6 Month FTC 40000 - 42000 p/aThe BackgroundWe are partnered with a world class IT services provider based in Spain but with a global presence who are looking for an experienced Major Incident Manager to join them on an initial 6 month FTC.We’re looking for a Major Incident Manager who thrives under pressure and knows how to lead when the stakes are high. You’ll take charge of P1 / P2 incidents cut through the noise and drive recovery fast calm and with absolute clarity. Here is what you’ll be accountable for:End-to-end ownership of Major / Severity Incidents leading technical bridge calls and coordinating resolver teams to restore services fastClear confident stakeholder communication delivering timely updates and acting as the trusted voice during high-pressure situationsAccurate incident management including timelines impact assessment PMIRs and post-incident root-cause collaborationContinuous improvement contributing to reporting identifying process gaps and strengthening Service Desk capability through guidance and trainingTo be a successful Major Incident Manager you will have:Previous experience in a similar role managing Major IncidentsStrong understanding of ITIL principles (especially Major Incident Problem and Change Management)Confidence managing technical relationships and summarizing complex technical issues for different stakeholdersExcellent leadership skills and highly organisedThe client offers an excellent benefits package that includes health insurance professional development budget and corporate pension contribution amongst other things.
