About Asabys Asabys Partners is a leading venture capital firm based in Barcelona, investing in breakthrough health technologies across biotech, medical technologies, and digital health. With a strong track record of backing transformative companies and translating cutting-edge science into real-world impact, we are now launching a new fund dedicated to company creation originating from Spanish academia, and selectively, to seed investments in emerging biotech and medtech ventures. We are expanding our leadership team and seeking a new Partner to help shape the strategy, build the next generation of disruptive companies, and drive the fund's scientific and investment vision. Role Overview The Partner will play a central role in the fund's sourcing, creation, and development of new biotech/medtech companies in partnership with top academic institutions and scientific founders. This is a senior, high-impact position for someone who combines deep scientific expertise with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership skills, and a strong network in the biotech or medtech innovation ecosystem. The candidate will work alongside the two existing partners of the Fund and will be part of a larger, dedicated team, supported by the overall Asabys structure. The Partner will be responsible for identifying breakthrough science, designing and evaluating company-creation theses, building founding teams, driving investment decisions, and supporting portfolio companies from incubation through early clinical development.
