ABOUT USThe Experimental Group was founded in 2007 by three childhood friends, Olivier Bon, Pierre-Charles Cros and Romée de Goriainoff. Xavier Padovani later joined them and shared their vision: to offer the ultimate hospitality experience to an ever-demanding clientele.Celebrated for bringing the cocktail bar culture to Paris, Experimental operates cocktail bars, but also wine bars, restaurants, and then from 2015 Hotels. Destinations diversify over the years, starting with European capitals like Paris and London, to more seasonal locations such as Ibiza or Menorca for the summer or the ski slopes of Verbier and Val d'Isère for the winter. The group also have properties in Venice, New York, Biarritz, and the Cotswolds.The philosophy of service is constituted and affirmed by three key principles: the quality of its products, the precision of service, and the warm welcome of our guests.ABOUT EXPERIMENTAL BEACH IBIZAExperimental Beach is set amongst the picturesque Salinas natural park. The bar & restaurant is set on the beach, overlooking the sea where the sunset is one of the best on the island. The menu is inspired by the history and culture of the Balearics Islands, and the cocktail menu is a twist on what Experimental knows best : a touch of eccentric whimsy with a nod to the classics.ABOUT THE JOBWe are now looking for our new Head Chef for the upcoming season to support and lead our team at Experimental Beach.You will work closely with our Executive Chef in Spain and will bring your experience to support and achieve the execution of his guideline.Cuisine concept (in collaboration with the Executive Chef)* Execute the menu designed by the executive chef* Optimize & manage costs serving the financial interests of the establishment (control of ratios, technical sheets, etc.)* Maintain constant communication and pass on relevant information to the F&B Director and Executive ChefTeam supervision* Lead the kitchen team and coordinate the work of all the staff on duty.* Ensure the smooth run of the kitchen team and the quality of the services for which you are responsible* Lead and motivate the team while building loyalty* Prepare schedules in conjunction with Executive Chef (management of overtime and recovery day)* Maintain a high level of food quality trying to exceed our guest’s expectations.* Monitor and control the HACCP rules* Ensure that all equipment is maintained at a high-level state* Manage purchases, stocks, and monthly inventories* Follow up and organize with the office (invoices, delivery notes)ABOUT YOU* With good leadership, organizational and management skills, you have a strong team spirit. You have an attention to detail and customer needs.* You are consistent and regular in your tasks.* You are also showing problem solving skills.* You speak Spanish.
