Holafly is a fast-growing start-up that is changing how travelers connect to the internet abroad. We are specifically seeking a Senior Backend Developer (100% remote) who can apply best practices that will be a significant part of their daily work. This role also involves taking on responsibilities as a Software Architect, focused on operations and automation. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on skills to streamline and scale processes effectively. Get to know the team, main projects and stakeholders with their characteristics and interlocutors. You will have autonomy and will be working independently with stakeholders and projects. Contribute to the evolution and improvement of Holafly projects, as well as work methodologies and tools. You will be in charge of projects / initiatives appropriate to your expertise and knowledge, interacting with the stakeholders and proposing solutions. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment. Design and develop high-performance digital services (APIs, automatizations, ...) Help your colleagues with the evolution and deployment of high availability platforms in the cloud. Develop and maintain core business logic and data models. Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, ensuring code quality and efficiency. Technical and planning monitoring of projects / initiatives. Guide and support your colleagues in their professional development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams working closely with frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers. Implement unit and functional tests. Promote and enforce best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in Spanish and English (C1 minimum). 5+ years working as a developer, with demonstrated expertise in Python + Django ~ Django Api Rest. ~ Experience in testing with pytest. ~ Experience using Django on an asynchronous model. ~ Proven expertise in reference web architectures. ~ Basic knowledge of cloud providers and their main services.
