Corporate Director of Project & Technical Services- Hotel Group Position: Director of Project & Technical Services Location: Barcelona, Spain + remote + business trips to hotel/resort locations Recruitment agency: COMPANIUM Hospitality on behalf of an international hospitality group About Our Client COMPANIUM is recruiting on behalf of a dynamic and fast-growing international hospitality group known for its immersive lifestyle experiences that blend hospitality, dining, music, and events. The group operates in some of the world’s most iconic seaside destinations and continues to expand its portfolio of resorts, residences, and destination hotels. The company is independently owned, family‑led, and headquartered in Barcelona. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Director of Project & Technical Services to oversee the full lifecycle of all development and renovation projects across the group’s global portfolio. This leadership role combines strategic technical oversight with hands‑on project coordination and operational engagement. Scope of Work Full technical delivery of all pipeline and future development projects Supervision of Engineering and Maintenance departments for operating hotels Leadership and execution of Capex initiatives across the brand Initial priority: full review of all active pipeline projects to assess risks, identify opportunities, and drive optimization. Key Responsibilities Act as the bridge between brand strategy, design, construction teams, and technical consultants Select and manage third‑party service providers, ensuring alignment with budget and quality standards Maintain strong, transparent relationships with developers, owners, and consultants Ensure brand standards and project goals are met across all technical activities Oversee stakeholder coordination across all project types (new builds, renovations, refurbishments) Manage RFPs and ensure compliance with legal, technical, cost, and timing requirements Monitor site progress and ensure alignment with building codes and specifications Lead and mentor the internal technical services team and oversee external consultants Support Capex planning and participate in corporate procurement processes Champion a client‑first mindset, long‑term relationship‑building, and operational excellence Profile Sought Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management or technical services for hospitality or real‑estate developments Deep understanding of building codes, MEP systems, and FF&E integration Skilled in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or Adobe is a plus Proven leadership and risk‑management skills, with a hands‑on approach Strong commercial acumen in hotel operations and project budgeting Excellent communication and negotiation skills Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus Willing to travel internationally as required What the Company Offers Competitive salary based on experience Health insurance and paid time off Career growth in a high‑energy, global hospitality company We would love to hear from you if you’re excited by the opportunity to lead global hospitality projects in a lifestyle‑driven, design‑focused group with ambitious expansion plans. #J-18808-Ljbffr
