Title: Clinical Center Associate I - Ambulatory Urology ClinicJob Type: RegularCompany: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer CenterDepartment: Ambulatory Services - Float PoolTime Type: Full timeWeekly Hours: 37.5FTE: 0.9375Shift: First Shift (United States of America)Summary: The Clinical Center Associate performs a variety of clerical support functions within the Ambulatory Urology Clinic, including responding to routine inquiries, screening phone calls, assisting visitors and patients, and recording and transcribing physician orders. Maintains and coordinates clinic schedules, manages co-pay collection processes, and actively participates in team-based activities within the center. All duties are carried out in a confidential environment and under direct supervision, with limited latitude for independent judgment and initiative.The starting rate of pay is $24.39/hour and includes a competitive benefits package.Qualifications: Required Education and Experience1. Medical Office Assistant Associate's degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or2. Associate's degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or3. High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma, completion of an Roswell Park-approved Medical Assistant certificate program and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or4. High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or5. High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in customer service and successful completion of a Clinical Center Associate traineeship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park).NOTE:Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.Preferred Qualifications: Preferred candidates will have experience working in a medical setting and a solid understanding of medical terminology, supported by relevant education or training. Strong customer service skills and prior scheduling experience are highly valued. Candidates should also demonstrate reliability and present a resume that reflects consistent, high-quality work history.
