Senior Program Manager – Cards Nium, the global leader in real‑time, cross‑border payments, was founded on the mission to deliver the global payments infrastructure of tomorrow, today. With the onset of the global economy, its payments infrastructure is shaping how banks, fintechs, and businesses everywhere collect, convert, and disburse funds instantly across borders. Its payout network supports 100 currencies and 220+ markets, 100 of which in real‑time. Funds can be disbursed to accounts, wallets, and cards and collected locally in 35 markets. Nium’s card issuance business is available in 34 countries, and the company holds regulatory licenses and authorizations in more than 40 countries, enabling seamless onboarding, rapid integration, and compliance – independent of geography. Nium is co‑headquartered in San Francisco and Singapore. Responsibilities Work with the Solution Engineering team from day one: co‑design architecture and funding flows so the programme meets Visa/Mastercard rulebooks while maximizing interchange and incentive eligibility. Own every issuing launch: steer the full life‑cycle from contract through scheme certification, first transactions, initial (T+90) white‑glove treatment and BAU hand‑over. Master the issuing critical path – schedule and deliver chip‑profile creation, personalisation bureau onboarding, VTS/MDES token provisioning, 3DS 2.x enablement, and digital wallet integrations (Apple Pay / Google Pay). Lead the cross‑functional teams – align processor, scheme compliance and fulfilment partners to hit scheme and technical readiness gates on time. Police scheme compliance – lock down scheme attestations, etc.; elevate any blocker. Hand‑over programme to operations – deliver run‑books for programme management to operations. Review programme compliance continuously – run quarterly audits against the latest scheme bulletins; log gaps, assign owners and track closure to guarantee ongoing rule adherence. Requirements At least 8 years of experience in program management, with at least 4 years focused on card issuing or payments.
