Scopely is looking for an Accountant to join our Accounting team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis. We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily. As the Finance team, we're number crunchers with top-notch analytical and reporting skills. In this role, you'll work closely with senior leadership, fellow accountants, and other teams across our global offices, as well as with external auditors and advisors. You'll play a key role in supporting the monthly consolidation process, quarterly and annual financial reporting and audits under IFRS and US GAAP, technical research, and process improvements with a strong focus on automation, accuracy and efficiency. Review the reconciliation of Intercompany accounts and schedules to support financial statements and footnote disclosures Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports under IFRS and US GAAP, including tie‐out and cross‐check of P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, and supporting schedules Coordinate with external auditors on requests and walkthroughs Ensure all financial documentation is complete, accurate, and audit‐ready Assist with general ad hoc projects Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. 3+ years of experience in audit, accounting, or finance Strong skills in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Oracle Exceptional attention to detail, strong organization skills, and the ability to work efficiently without compromising quality Strong English language skills are required for this role as we have a highly diverse and global business Public accounting experience At Scopely, we create games for everyone - and want to ensure that the people behind our games reflect that This role will have access to sensitive and/or confidential employee or customer personally identifiable information (PII) and/or Company financial information, and therefore will be subject to background checks upon receiving a conditional offer of employment.
