The Team: EMEA Brand Finance is fully dedicated to support EMEA Franchise team (Local and Regional Marketing, and Consumer Products team). It oversees A&P budget, CP P&L and Product selection & Pricing. In this role, you’ll be a strategic partner to the business and responsible for reporting, analysis, periodic close activities, forecasting, and annual planning processes. Job Description The Opportunity: Finance Analyst role based in Barcelona, part of the EMEA Brand Finance Team you’ll report to the EMEA Pricing Manager. This is a temporary position. You’ll play an instrumental role in ensuring an effective price setting process across all the EMEA markets and for a number of brands within the Mattel portfolio as well as the development and implementation of a global pricing strategy Working hand in hand with the Regional Marketing Team you will be guarantor of a profitable item selection and pricing as of a flawless local setup. You will support also local team on their own selection working with local leads and local finance to improve profitability. You will also have a support role in the management of local Advertising and Promotion budget for some markets which is overseen by other Brand Finance members. What Your Impact Will Be Support the item activation and price setting process for several brands. Contribute to the development and implementation of the regional pricing strategy. Be super-user of our Line Planning Tool. Execute various pricing related tasks/analysis/etc. Partner with key teams across Marketing, Finance, Planning. Support markets in their display setup process. Coordinate the direct import process. Assist on the setup of inventory items. Support on the management of local A&P reporting, spend, forecasting & accrual for some markets. Qualifications Must Have: Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and ideally familiarity with data visualization or BI tools (e.g. Tableau). Solid written and verbal communication abilities in English. Solid understanding of financial principles including pricing elasticity, ROI, P&L impact, and investment efficiency. Preferred: Experience working with or supporting pricing governance, global deployment, and localized implementation (e.g. currency, tariff, volume differences). Proven pricing experience working in global facing role, across cross-cultural environments, such as within Retail, FMCG, CPG or Toys & Entertainment. Experience with digital tools or platforms related to commercial or investment management. Additional Information Don’t meet every single requirement?
