If you’re ready to take on new challenges and grow with us, we want to hear from you.As Legal Counsel supporting mainly the Italian jurisdiction reporting directly to the Lead Counsel for DACH, FR & IT, this role will require proactivity, autonomy, and drive. You will be involved in day-to-day legal support to the region, advise on corporate and operationally relevant matters to support the growth of the company, with a focus on Italy, draft and help commercial teams negotiate commercial agreements to support exciting productions and partnerships, all within a fast-paced company undergoing an ambitious regional expansion.You will have the opportunity to work in multiple areas of the law, and be required to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members within and without the department. You will be expected to work in the following areas in Italy : Learning about legislation and the Italian jurisdiction for the matters entrusted to you Drafting / revising key commercial contracts, terms and conditions, and similar legal documents Providing support to business teams and upper management in their negotiations of deals and contracts you are involved in Advising on general legal matters related to the Italian markets and our product fit and compliance within them Take ownership of dispute resolution, including litigation, prioritising strategies that lead to practical, win-win results Advice on engagement of, and coordinate and prioritise work of external legal advisors Prepare / revise internal templates, guides, and similar knowledge management key documents Participate in ongoing compliance functions as required Prioritise your and others’ work Participate in the upskilling, support and growth of other team members ABOUT YOU In order to be successful in this role, you will:Be a barred / practising lawyer, with 4-6 years of PQE in the legal field (corporate or law firm) Have academic legal training in Italy, or PQE working with the region Speak fluent English and Italian, with a command of legal English and Italian (fluency in another language is a plus) Have an excellent academic record and/or experience in top-notch companies or top-tier law-firms Have a keen eye for strategy and business, and be committed to company goals Possess strong technical skills Be an effective communicator who brings emotional intelligence to work You can expect to join a lovely team of diverse, hardworking and kind professionals, where a cultural fit is someone looking to have an impact and work nimbly.
