As a Business Analyst, you will drive the optimisation, automation, and global standardisation of our financial, billing, and tax processes. You will analyse complex data flows, ensure tax compliance, support ERP/Billing integration (incl. Vertex), and play a key role in our international migration program. Your Responsibilitie s *Process, Billing & Tax Analysis Analyse end-to-end Billing, Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, and Tax Determination processes. Identify weaknesses across data and process flows and propose improvements. Assess and optimise data transfers between ERP/Billing systems and the Vertex Tax Engine *Vertex Configuration & Tax Logic Configure, test, and maintain the Vertex Tax Engine (O/Q Series). Translate legal and tax changes into Vertex rule sets. Troubleshoot incorrect tax calculations and optimise tax-related logic. *Global Migration & System Transformation Lead functional decision-making and define migration rules for the global billing & accounting harmonisation. Coordinate migration tasks, report progress, and maintain documentation. Collaborate with local teams worldwide to understand existing processes and align them with the global model. Act as key contact for migration topics and support the team lead when required. Requirements Management & Integrati on Translate Finance/Accounting/Tax requirements into technical specifications. Support integration of new products and countries into unified billing and ERP platforms. Ensure compliance with legal and internal audit requirements and create reporting concepts. Stakeholder Collaboration Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, tax experts, developers, and senior management. Communicate decisions, project updates, and risks clearly and proactively . Your Pro file *Experience & Knowledge 4+ years in Business Analysis, Billing/AR, Tax Technology, or Data/ERP migrations. Strong background in Billing, Invoicing, AR, and/or Tax Determination. Hands-on experience with Vertex (TPC, TPD, Tax Assist Rules) is a major plus. Solid knowledge of ERP systems (SAP FI/CO, Infor LN, or similar). *Technical Skills Ability to analyse data flows independently; basic understanding of SQL or script logic. Experience in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and familiarity with Jira. *Soft Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Detail-oriented with strong commitment to tax accuracy and audit reliability. Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable leading through complexity. English C1 or higher.
