Descripción del empleo From ECB, we are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our client team, an international company specialized in Energy sector. They are located in Madrid. The Embedded Software Engineerwill be in charge of designing embedded firmware for different platforms (processors, DSPs, microcontrollers) that are part of products or systems for industrial applications, analyzing customer needs and determinining firmware system requirements, recommending embedded platforms, driving implementation of the intended functionality and developing maintenance and testing procedures for the firmware releases.Primary Responsibilities: Deliver as planned complete firmware solutions (specification, design, implementation, testing, industrialization). Develop and conduct necessary tests for validation/qualification of (sub-)systems. Support production in testbench development. Participate to the firmware development of new features and products (from feasibility studies and POCs up to release to manufacturing products). Participate to the continuous improvement activities of company’s products and services. Maintain the existing firmware architecture throughout entire product life cycle. Perform design reviews, root cause analyzes and implements best practices. Provide technical support to customers and internal departments. Requisitos At least 4 years of experience in electronic firmware design development. Experience in development of firmware applications for data acquisition, digital signal processing and real time measurements. Experience with several mainstream processors and DSP design platforms. Experience working with SoCs, in particular Xilinx's Zynq family chips. Hands-on experience in embedded code development using C++. Experience with signal processing algorithms and design methodologies. Experience using common communication interfaces (UART, I2C, SPI). Good written and verbal communication (EN, SPA) and presentation skills. Ventajas Flexible work schedule. Possibility of teleworking.
