Job Purpose

Develop sales with top trade partners in a defined scope, identifying opportunities to generate additional revenue. The sales coordinator is a key role in supporting the Commercial strategy driving sales to enriched content and lower costs channels.

Main Accountabilities

  • Increasing revenue and generating incremental sales through innovative initiatives.
  • Developing and sustaining solid relationships with key clients that bring in the most income for the company.

Main Responsibilities - Tasks

  • Manage a portfolio of trade partners within a defined area.
  • Analyze sales performance data and implement corrective or growth actions to boost revenue.
  • Negotiate and oversee allotment contracts with tour operators (TTOO).
  • Provide RMP and Network teams with market trend data and partner feedback.
  • Encourage partners to adopt low-cost channels and highlight the benefits of online channels.
  • Ensure smooth collaboration with Sales Support, Channels, Distribution, Network, Marketing, and Customer Services teams.
  • Promote Vueling products to travel agencies and provide them with necessary sales materials.

Education

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Economics, Sales, Tourism or related fields.

Experience

  • +2 years of experience as a key account manager (airlines or agency)
  • Familiarity with digital tools and online sales channels in the travel sector.
  • Understanding of airline selling processes.

Competencies

  • Teamwork and ability to work autonomously
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Communication skills with a customer-oriented approach
  • Organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment

Languages

  • Spanish and English C1
  • Italian, French or German is a plus

Other

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - required
  • Tableau - desired
