Are you a passionate cook with a love for the Thai kitchen? Would you like to be part of an enthusiastic team in the oldest Thai restaurant of Haarlem?

Then we are looking for you

Our restaurant is situated in the historic center of Haarlem surrounded by shops, nice restaurants, and cosy bars.

You will be responsible for authentic Thai dishes in a restaurant where the quality of the food comes first. You will oversee that the dishes will be prepared according to strict quality guidelines, working ethics, and recipes.

Required Education/Experience

  • MBO 3 diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience as an independently working cook
  • You speak Dutch and/or English

What We Offer:

Salary: from €2400.00 Gross per month. Salary is increased in proportion to years of service.

Type of Employment: Full-time, Permanent job

Working Schedule:

  • From 15:00 - 23:30
  • Work in weekends
  • Work on holidays

Job Description:

  1. Prepare, cut, and display the ingredients at the beginning of every working day.
  2. Carry out the preparations, monitoring/checking the quality, doneness, taste, color, fluidity, etc., and making adjustments/dosing.
  3. Marinate meat products that need to be baked, fried, boiled, or roasted.
  4. Prepare starters and main courses that have to be baked, fried, boiled, or roasted.
  5. Clean one's own working environment, kitchen equipment, and machines and assist any kitchen assistant present in the complete cleaning of the kitchen.
